I hope your August is going great! I was kept busy writing research articles, supporting customers and being a good parent, husband and son. In this newsletter, I want to talk about the stars, if I may!
The space telescope is looking billions of years into the past, but they say that stars can also tell us the future.
For me, Astrology is a great way to learn more about human tendencies and your environment, so you can be in the better position to help. Astrology seems to be based not only on the effects of stars and planets on life journeys, but also has deep metaphysical insight into the nature of reality and mental function.
When we are truly connected to our inner selves, only then can we really listen to our bodies and be able to make the best health choices and support our family with goodness and well-being.
My favorite guided meditation tape is Yoga Nidra. It is a rejuvenating meditation that is done laying flat on the back, and involves a set of techniques to relax and develop awareness of chakras. The chakras are nothing but various biological systems such as the digestive, reproduction, heart, throat, brain, etc. The meditation tape I use comes from (my dad to me) and of course from the world renowned Bihar School of Yoga and is delivered by an amazing personality and spiritual guru Swami Niranjana Anand Saraswati.
The meditation is 45 minutes long, so lying flat on the back is a gift as you don’t have to sit upright. You’ll also find this mediation in many wellness retreats and 5-star hotels. There are powerful benefits locked in here, but they will truly manifest after you can do the meditation 4-5 times without falling asleep. I noticed an incredible improvement in mental and emotional capacity after 8-10 times which took a year for me. Don’t have to force it, if you felt good and fell asleep, next time try to remember and finish the whole 45 mins. After more than 10 years of practice, I don’t need the tape anymore, the techniques are now in muscle memory for me..
If combining with PEMF, I would recommend starting the PEMF session after the meditation. So add another 30 mins to your “lying flat on the floor session”. I’m particularly enjoying 8 Hz with these sessions, but you should know that PEMF frequency settings are quite subjective. I don’t think there is a better way to do PEMF. Before bed-time a session like this will transform your stress and give you a sense of floating in space. In the morning, it will straighten you out and fill you with energy to win the day! (or take any losses with resilience.)
